Hatching 4 Schools provides life cycle education programs that enable children to see chicks hatching from their eggs. It is a practical experience showing the miracle of life first hand, and allows teachers to extend Life Cycle studies. Programmes are ideal for the classroom; from childcare/nursery through to secondary school – there are support programmes to suit all levels.

Cheap Cheap
The 2-week program is only £250 with no hidden extras. We deliver all the equipment required on a Monday and by the Wednesday of that week, you should start seeing signs of hatching. Incubating the eggs to within three days of hatching before bringing them to you means no waiting 21 days for them to hatch.
Animal Friendly
Our incubators are easy to use, compact, and allow for good all-round viewing. We have full public liability insurance, PAT tested equipment and all our staff are DBS checked.
Most local authorities require £10,000,000 in insurance to cover what we have! However, full liability insurance means you can enjoy the day with peace of mind.
Watch as they Hatch
Around the 3rd day, your eggs will start to hatch. The entire process provides a great focal point for a 2-week project. Use the program to highlight topics covered in the curriculum such as Life Cycles, Living Things and their Habitats, and Caring Ethos.
We also run the programme in many care homes. It has proven a great success as many residents have had experience with hens when they were younger. The feedback the residents give is amazing!
